Hello all. Not really a noob to the aquarium world. I've had family-managed tanks when I was a kid and my own setup when I moved out. Eventually I moved to a place that didn't support "da feeshes" and got out of fish keeping. Flash forward to a month ago... my mom moves out of state and leaves me her little Eclipse System 3. I wasn't ready for another tank despite it's small easy setup. But after getting it home with the two Tetras she had, I knew they needed me (Mom just did the basics). I've vowed to make this 3gal the best it can in terms of water quality, temperature, etc... for now! (bigger tank dreams down the road)
I'll leave this as an introduction and not start asking Q's right away. But I'll leave a post with 2 questions in the necessary forum.

(BTW... I know only two Tetras in a 3gal is still bad, but one has lived for 5 years now, so it must have been OK for him. When the time and money is right, I will do it the way it should be... don't let my name fool ya!!)
