do i need to push the sides super hard together or should i apply some pressure. The tank building sites im going to confuse me, each one is so **** different. I'm also using glass for this and i have no clamps so i think ill attempt to use tape to hold them in place.

You could use tape, but then you might not get the amount of pressure you want on the glass that you want to press on "super hard."
