Can anyone please help me?

parrots need 40 gallons a cich as they CAN and WILL reach 10 inches and dempseys i learned the hard way need a 55 for one male as they will reach a foot in the first year..

heck my biggest convict is almost 2 inches and growing i would NEVER think of putting one con in anything less then a 20 gallon ( smallest tank i ahve )

Just be careful with the water change amount if any is required, In my experience Parrots can be fine today and dead tomorrow if there water changes too much or TDS gets too high. IMO Parrots are more couch potato then swimmers and seem to be fine as long as they have their hiding spot/cave.

not true.. my male i had ( well was my moms but then i took over after she died then gave it to the nursing home ) was a mean SOB!!!!! bred with my pink convict and stay with her throught the months/years and gaurded her and all even attacked me when i put my hand in the tank to clean it
