For the past few days my male guppy has been swimming around as if the rear half of his body is paralyzed, and his tail fins are clamped. Other than that he is eating normally and still chasing the female around, and his other fins are moving normally.

Not sure if it matters but:

They are in a 5g eclipse hex
Ammonia~0
nitrites~0
pH 7.4
gH is about 100
kH is about 60

tankmates: 2 spotted cories
Anyone have any ideas as to this weird symptom?

ok, 8 views and no one has any clue?

I guess as long as he doesn't start acting any weirder he'll be ok.

No clue--unless he's got something stuck in there that he's trying to poop out. Any redness around the anal/back area?

nope, no redness anywhere...the only thing that is different is that he's swimming funny...he gets around ok, just not quite as fast...he's losing races with the female :p
