Today while I was in the process of transferring a pile of rocks from one tank to another, as I pulled one of the rocks from the tank, I noticed a small clutch of gold colored eggs on the underside of one of the rocks. I quickly put it in another tank with just snails in it and put an airline tubing near it. The only thing in the tank that it could have been from is a small (about 2 1/2") pair of albino bn plecos. Did I kill the eggs by briefly pulling them out of the water? Is that the color of pleco eggs normally? Are they safe with the brigs snails in there, or will the brigs eat the eggs? Any sharing of knowledge will be greatly appreciated. Thoughts? Thanks.
