right now my oscar is solo in a 55g. It will be moved to a 75g in a few weeks when we install my new rack systems.
His is the tank that is elevated over the others. He rams the glass if he can see other fish.
Mine is in a 150. Right now it's divided with some small geos and a young uaru growing out in a section on the end. This picture is just of the left 4' of the tank. The fish in the growout section will hopefully be moving into a 75 sometime this spring and he'll get the rest of his tank back.
Tankmates include a sev, geo, flagtail, ornate bichir, clown loaches, and a couple small plecos
It's been awhile since I updated my Oscar pics so this thread is a great excuse! I don't take my Oscar Addiction lightly. If not for my Oscars I wouldn't have a single fish in the house, I love these guys.
Here we go-
My Red Oscar in his 125 g (tankmates are a 2" Firemouth & 2" Texas):
My Albino Red & Albino Tiger in their 125 g (tankmate is a FeatherFin catfish):
My Tiger Veiltail & regular Tiger in their 250 g (tankmates are 10 Clown Loaches, a
female Con, Para Plec, Raphael Catfish & 5 Silver Dollars):
My 'rescue' Tiger Oscar in his 75 g (he's got an Eartheater in with him):
all i have is 2 oscars in a 112 ( pics to come soon ) tank mates are: 1 sev pair of cons ( soon getting rid of the female ) and 3 firemouths ( getting soon )
my Gus is currently in a 55 (he's not full size yet so he's ok in there for a little while longer). tankmates are one of each: paratilapia polleni, koi angel, ob peacock cichlid (exact type unknown). filtration is rena xp4 + rena xp2.
tankmates just happened to be under or behind decor (the angel is actually right behind Gus, you can see the very edge of his fin)
