Algae cleaners with puffers

Has anyone successfully found an algae cleaner that can live with a puffer? I've tried turbo snails, but he'd just knock em off the glass and pick at the soft parts. I've thought about a tang of some sort, but I'm without a protein skimmer right now. (BTW this is an adult green spotted puffer whose been acclimated to SW for adulthood).
I've also got 2 silver scats and 5 mono argentus.

Maybe try an Algae Blenny. They are always on the prowl for algae, and since they spend most of their time on the bottom and have very good camouflage, the puffer might not even notice he's there!

I've already got a dalmation molly that he's ignored for about 8 months. However, he's eaten the other two I had in there in ruthless fashion.
