blackwater

I recently bought a new queen-sized bed and for it to fit in my room I will have to move my tank along maybe 1 metre (3 feet).
It's only a 70L (18.5G) tank and I'm guessing it weighs about 100kg (220lbs).
I'm only just starting to cycle my tank so I was thinking of removing most of the water into a large brand new container, dragging the tank/stand to the new position and then putting the smae water back in the tank. Is this an ok way to do things? Or should I discard the water and start with new water when I've moved the tank. I guess I'll only lose 2 weeks of cycling this way.
Any advice would be great! Thanks.
