This is soon to be the home of my two black moors - they're currently in a 29 gallon tank. I can't wait until they're in their new digs!

I hope to replace all the artificial plants with live ones slowly but surely...goldfish friendly ones like Anubias mostly. I might keep the white speckled silk ones though, I think those look kind of cool :goldfish:

Any advice, comments, criticism...are welcome!

Oh, and I am definitely getting some Stealth black airline tubing to replace that clear stuff. Just a matter of getting the funds together :p:

Oh, I'll be sure to! I'll borrow the camera from work so I can take pics that aren't crappy. This is my camera from home with a broken LCD - I can't see the menu so I just take pics blindly and upload them to the computer

I wish Santa had brought me a digital camera for Christmas, but alas...

Thanks everyone!! :D

My friend came over and took some pics...her Canon actually has a viewfinder, which is um, helpful to say the least ;) So there's a full tank shot, with some Amazon frogbit floating around. Thanks mellowvision!

And also a pic of one of the black moors...he was loving the camera on that day. Those are white clouds in with him. So far, they are doing great :)

Hee :) Nope, no orandas...my other 55 gallon tank is in the living room and it's got tetras, kribensis, and one fat Synodontis eupterus. If I ever set up a 40 breeder in the study, I'd love to get a blue oranda.

That is one very nice looking fish tank you have there.:jaw:
What type of sand is that?

Why thank you! You should see it now, it's a total wreck ;) But I'm sure it will get back in line soon, and the fish are happy as can be.

I just went to the pool supply store (Leslie's) and asked for pool filter sand. One 50 lb bag did the whole bottom. Don't run out and buy any though...I strongly suspect it's why I'm having issues with diatoms!
