I think I remember joining to see if I could figure out male from female angelfish, since I had one who was laying at the time.
I still have her, I think she's probably 10 or so. After moving a couple of years ago, since it was just her, I left the 40 in the garage, and she's in the 15-high mirror-back. We just got her 3 gold mollies as "friends" and some live plants, and finally blocked the direct sunlight that was causing tons of algae!
I was just doing more research today, as it appears she has a lip fibroma on her upper lip - it started before we brought in the other fish. So far, it hasn't affected her eating or begging, other than if she gets her snout too far out of the water to grab a flake, she splashes back in quickly.
Anyway, as a fan of, and administrator of forums, this place is a great resource!
