That's right, you know you're jealous.
Anyway, here are some shots from the Invert Queen's castle!
Mr. Grumpypants, who constantly changed color while we were there. I'm not sure he appreciated the presence of strangers in his basement.
Wow. Look at the variation! That IS the same fish, I swear.
The marthae hatchets. So cute! I really want some of these.
And the corner of the tank is a hot place to be if you are an otocinclus.
The little bitty hasbrosus corys
Malawa shrimp
Macrobrachium shrimp
Green Lace Shrimp (Atyoida pillipes)
"Yellow cheek/gold flake" Sulawesi shrimp - Caridina spinata
Erythromicron microrasboras. Tiny! Very cool, and hard to get.
Discus! So pretty. They like to float a lot.
Amano and cladophera
Amanos swimming
Cherry shrimp, and one sneaky green shrimp. How did you get in there???
Microcrabs are very cool, but look suspiciously like ticks or spiders. Very cool.
Green shrimps
Birchirs
Birchirs and gar
Tylo snails
Dwarf Mexican cray, schufeldtii
Amano
Ember tetras
Ameca splendens
Wild honey gourami. I couldn't get a great shot, they were feeling camera shy.
Some kind of bumblebee catfish, which I fell in love with. Very tiny.
Somehow he ended up coming home with me......
Barbatus cory
Unidentified rainbow
And, my haul! I got several amanos, a lace shrimp, some ramshorns and the little bumblecat.
