I recently moved my 75g. from the kitchen into the living room, and weeded out some plants (which are listed in the classifieds) to make room for my "leopard" Val (not sure exactly what var. it is, but the LFS called it that) and swords.

First pic. is before. Second is what it looks like now. The last picture is my gymnogeo male and female, who have really colored up the last couple weeks.

Wow that looks really nice.

I really like the look of the vals. im getting some in the mail in a couple days.

Both scapes look very nice but I have to be honest with you in that I actually like the before shot better.

I have that type of val, and be forewarned, that stuff will grow in a closet with no light, and I mean GROW. It is crazy, you will be posting that in the classifieds in about a minute, lol!!!

The tank looks great, and beautiful fish!

Looks really nice! Would have liked to seen some brown sand with the eartheaters! That would have looked great!
OTherwise, nice job!

Thanks! I'm working on adding sand slowly. There is a "valley" of it in the middle of the tank in front, but you can't see it really from the pic.

I'll post an update when I've got it all done.

Kristina -- Thanks. The val is starting to take off. I didn't know it would be such a fast-growing plant. I originally bought it becuase was something the LFS doesn't usually get in, so I thought it must be pretty unique. Not for long, if it keeps this up!

Slappy, I almost agree with you. I was just switching things around to see how things would "jive". I very well may move it back to the original. I'll post updates, no matter what I do.

I have a suggestion, just keep changing it , there is some guy on this site that does that :)
