Hi, I'm Orange n Plump and i love goldies. I have two beautiful ranchus and a beauty Oranda with flowing fins and tail. Their names are "Tater", "Popper" and "Sweet Pea". Tater is the biggest and is plump like a big potato. Popper is the other ranchu and loves to make popping noises at the surface. Sweet Pea is the Oranda and has flowing fins and tail and has a very nice wen.
In the summertime they go outside to their summer-home which is a roomy fishpond outside our kitchen window. It has a nice little waterfall for good aereation and they also like to swim under the fall to massage their heads. They love to swim under and around the water lettuce roots and get along fine with the frogs when they come. The frogs sit ontop of the water-lettuce and float around. we plant some real pretty tropicals in the soil around the edges of the pond.
In the winter they move inside to a 75 gallon "bowfront". We love having them inside too, because we can watch them up close and see them from a different angle.
