Hi Friends,

I was just referring the website "theaquatools.com" to calculate the Safety Factor for a tank that I plan to get made for myself next ( for the mobas ) -

Tank Size - 6 Feet x 2 Feet x 2 Feet and as per the site I will have a safety factor of 3.5 with the 12mm glass ( which is the one I'm going to go for - as I cant afford a thicker glass ) but the safety factor increases to 5.1 if I reduce the height to 1.75 Feet instead of the 2 feet.

Just wanted to request you friends to kindly guide me if I should go for a 6 x 2 x 1.75 and get a high safety factor or will 6 x 2 x 2 with a Safety factor of 3.5 be good enough ?

Kindly guide me Friends - I want to be sure and I cant take any chances as there are little kids at home, who will be at the greatest risk if the tank should collapse someday...

Please guide and Help me Friends...
Thanks and Regards
Kush

im sure either would be fine but if small children around the tank is a major concern for you then i would go with the higher safety value. piece of mind is priceless :)
