I just bought a Coral Beauty Angel and 3-4 days later hes coming up with these white specks on him. I have him in a 75gal reef setup with 4 other fish, 2 clowns, 1 yellow tang and a yellowtail damsel. I don't have a quarantine tank and don't really know what else I can do. I know I can't add any medicines so what can I do?:

It does sound like ich. If you can't setup a tank, what about a small tubberware tub? Something that's around 5 gallons, with an air tube and a sponge will work for treatment.

Unfortunately, you'll have to monitor your other fish, as ich is very pervasive and contagious. There are reef safe meds, but I haven't used them so don't know the name or effectiveness--anyone?

I haven't posted because the only way I ever got rid of cryptocaryon from a marine tank was to run the tank water through a UV unit 20X per hour for several weeks.

Here's an old thread in which Fish Whisperer gives some advice. HTH.
