sick fish

well the fish doesnt really seem sick,still active eats, swims normaly, but i noticed about two-three white dots on both pectral fins that looks like ick. How should i treat it?

slowly raise temp to 83-85 degrees - i would get an ick med however continue medicating for at least 3 days after the last of the white spots is gone as at this point the parasite is vulnerable to the meds- raising temp will shorten it's lifespan - when it falls from the fish it will lay in the gravel as a cyst and burst open releasing hundreds of tomites which is the free swimming form of ick and this form seeks a host which then is the white spots you see -
some reccomend continuing meds for 4-6 weeks although i think that is with a salt treatment - i know OG can tell you her method which is prob the best in the long run!
