Just wanted some feedback on frogs and Cichlids, I had read that frogs will eat some small fish but will the Cichlids hassle the frogs once the fish are bigger? If so, then should frogs be kept more in a communiyt tank? Thanks all.

What kind of frog? Dwarf frogs are not aggressive, and won't threaten other tankmates--in fact, they are a challenge to feed in mixed tanks. African clawed frogs, which get up to 6-7 inches, can eat smaller tankmates, and can scratch tankmates. I would not mix either with cichlids though--a stressed frog may try to escape, and it could easily hurt a much larger fish trying to defend itself.

There aren't too many fully aquatic frogs readily available. Of those, the african dwarf and the african clawed are by far the most common. Most frogs are truly amphibious--they spend portions of their life cycle in the water, and portions on dry land. Some are somewhat aquatic as adults, but still spend most of their time on land, ducking into water to escape predation but feeding on land. Frogs kept in water exclusively can drowned--they get most of the oxygen from the surface, and can't 'tread' water for extended periods of time. Even the aquatic frogs must have access to the surface--like bettas and gouramies, they surface and gulp air.

For other frogs, you'd need to research them specifically. Many must be able to get out of the water for periods of time,so are not suited for an aquarium. Most are partially piscivores, so small fish might be eaten. Aggressive fish too big to eat may be a threat.
