So I'm going to move on to EI dosing from bottles of leaf zone- I'm getting really tired of paying $10 bucks a bottle (that lasts me maybe a month) instead of $26-$27 bucks for the dry chemicals I need. Added bonus will be making root tabs instead of buying them.
What's the best way to store the stuff? And how bad does it smell? Tank is in my bedroom with me and my girlfriend, and the first thing she asks when it has anything to do with the tanks- Is it going to smell bad? I'd like to be prepared with an answer, haha.

nope, no smell. If you are going to dose dry, no problem. If you are going to make a concentrated solution of the mircos, it should be refridergated and made in small batches. It does tend to mold if you make a concentrated mixed with water and leave it out.

Thanks, just dry dosing. Never dealt with dry chemicals, so I wasn't sure... didn't want to want to end up with a stink bomb in the waiting every time I opened the jars, haha.

Tr:
Zip lock bags.
Some folks put the bags in a refrigerator but I do not.
And how bad does it smell?
No odor.

i keep mine in tupperware container now adays. keeped them the zip lock bags for a while but the tupperware is easier to stack and get the firtz out of also my bags tended to brake after a while.
Ya mine just sit around it a Tupperware, but i measure out two weeks at a time with a pill case from the dollar store.
