My name is Johnny (I commonly go by the name Johnny B hence the username) and I found this forum a couple of nights ago while looking for aquarium plants for sale online! I have never joined an aquarium based forum before, but i have however joined many other types of forums so i know how they work and what is and is not expected from me.

Just wanted to introduce myself briefly:
I am 21 years old and live in Panama City Beach, Florida, USA!

I currently have a 33 gallon Freshwater aquarium with Pressurized C02 and almost 4.0 wpg! :naughty: Yeah...i can pretty much grow anything (in theory) but that being said, i am still relatively new to this hobby and still have a lot to learn when it comes to water parameters! It is plain to see it is a case of operator error if ANYTHING goes wrong with my attempts at growing plants. I know it can be done, but now it is my turn to do it. I am sure it will be a long, very educational road ahead...

Thanks for reading my post and I hope to help (and be helped) shortly! :D

Yep i have all kinds of stuff in it!

Plants: Plenty of Cabomba and Anacharis. Just got some Flame moss in (to attach to 3 pieces of driftwood) and now awaiting some Christmas moss (for moss wall) that should be here any day now.....

Currently looking for some HC (hemianthus callitrichoides)

10 galaxy rasboras (Captive bred!)
2 bettas: male and female
2 rainbow gouramis*
3 upside down catfish
1 apple snail the size of a baseball!

*please someone correct me if thats wrong but this is only what the LFS told me so i have nothing else to go on. Ill get pictures up asap...

if your apple snail is baseball sized, its likely a species that will enjoy devouring your plants :(

Welcome to AC and good luck!

Thank y'all so much for the warm welcome! Im sure i'll fit in here just fine!

msjinkzd, Oh yeah....it has already taken a java fern down to the base, but it hasnt touched the anacharis or the cabomba...lets hope it doesnt go for the mosses or the hc! ill have to do some small scale experiments to see if it will eat those because i do NOT want that thing to eat 60 dollars in plants!
