If money and/or space was no object what type (s) of fish would you try to breed?

For me I think that I would try to breed my Angelfish and bristlenose catfish, But that is because those are the fish I have the most expierence with.

Another fish that I would like to try would have to be Rams.

Someday.:D

Zebra plecos, They cost a ton but dont' need much room.

If i had a really huge tank i would try to breed some sort of large cichlid, jaguars or JD.

But if i jsut had lots of money and a huge tank i woudl turn it into a malawi setup or a planted discus tank

If money was no object, I'd buy a bigger house and then buy 4 tanks, each 125g. One planted SA, one African Tang, one African Malawi and one Reef.

A BMW 7 series would be nice as well.

Can I dream? :D

A tank big enough to scuba dive in and swim around with the fishies. And it would be filled with thousands of white cloud minnows and cory catfish. I would hand feed them all (sure it would take lots of time).

Oh, and I'd hire someone to maintain it too! LOL!!! :)

i would like a tank big enough to sustain a balance between predator and prey, with north american natives. something that would mimic a lake in the south or midwest. largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, bluegill, pumpkinseeds, shellcrackers, warmouths living with shad, darters and minnows of different species. it would be big enough to fish out of, with some kind of tunnel or observation area that you could watch how fish react to different fishing techniques.

I'd hire a geneticist to create male bettas that want to play nice with other males. I would then convert my 12 gallon to a species tank with about 4 females and 4 males.

If i could do that i would turn my 12m by 6m by 1.6m sloping to 2.4m pool into a large reef aquarium and put some red emperor in there. along with many nemos:D

I would get a big house and put a giant aquarium in the middle so that i could see it from all the rooms in the house. It would be 2 stories and filled with cichlids.

Just buy several tropical islands surrounded with SW reefs, and the inteior of the island would contain FW lakes and streams.

Since I probably couldn't ID a fish species that isn't found in my tank right now.... I guess I would say I'd just have to get some yellow ones and some orange ones and some blue ones and some red ones.... :D

Well, while I'm waiting on them to build my 103 room condo underwater somewhere around the Great Barrier Reef so I could wander around looking out the windows to see what might swim by and breed today.
I'd take my swords for a ride on the space shuttle and see what they act like breeding in space.

ohhh yea, and one of the rooms in the condo uhhhmmm probably the 20,000 square foot one, yea that one would work. I'd have some Shovel Nose Tiger Cats to try to breed.

Wow. You all have some amazing ideas. I would sure love to visit those houses.;)

I would love to have a room setup much like the huge aquariums seen at Public Aquariums. I think that would be neat. Being able to swim with your fish.:D

I would buy a tropical island and let the fish breed on their own on the reefs around the island. I go diving to see them. Thats what I would do if money were no object.
