Within 24 hours my sword plants got man holes about 3-4 mm. They look to have suffered a drive by shooting. This hit the newest leaves first. Otherwise the plants are healthy.

It's not the fish, parameter are all good and the other plants seem fine. This happened to me about a year ago but not so bad. The suddeness has me thinking I have a plant desease of some sort.

One other clue is that anubious won't seem to grow in my tank any more though they flourished in the past. Now new leaves seem to "disolve" or be eaten away from the outside in befor they can establish.

Any ideas would be great.

Sounds like a fish attack to me, I had a Rosy Barb that ate all new leaves on the anubias just as they unfolded. Ditto the Java fern... so much for those being bullet-proof plants, eh?

What fish do you have?

My clown loaches pop holdes in my swords when they get bored. It might be them or you have a nutrient deficency. Do you dose ferts?

I'll have to stake out my loaches at night to see if they are the culprets. It would have been a wild party though on their part.

I fertillize regularly and have tested my levels but seems ok. Maybe a trace issue?? Any recommendation for a trace supplement?

Seems my Hydophillia Rose is starting to suffer a bit too. New leaves erode at the base and fall off and/or are stunted and deformed.

That's not normal for new leaves at all. Old leaves do eventually rot away or fall off, but new growth should always be healthy. I would suggest a good trace element mix, such as Flourish (just Flourish, not Flourish Trace, as suggested by others on the forum) or Tropica Master Grow. Dose according to the suggestions.

What else are you dosing? P and K made a big difference for me. In my case, small holes in Ludwigia leaves were due to K deficiency, corrected very quickly by dosing K to about 15-20ppm, (and mugh higher by mistake). Yours doesn't sound like P deficiency, but if you test your water and it's 0, you definitely need some.

Good luck
