Here's a couple pics of a male Ancistrus, uncertain of the species, but I have 2 pairs of them. Females are only about half as big, and look quite like common BN. The males, obviously, grow a bit larger than the regular variety. They're great for algae cleanup, the 75 was badly overgrown when they were introduced. They had the glass cleaned off in about 4-5 days, and have kept it spotless ever since.

Nice!

Awesome plecs!

Some "headset" he's got going on there Todd! Nice!

There was a female hanging beside him, but she had moved away by the time I grabbed the camera. She's partially visible in the second pic on top of the slate cave. They do look like commons, but the males grow twice as large. I actually have a common female who is larger then the common males, and another one that's a bit smaller (same size as the males.) The larger common female looks to be the same size as the unknown females.

sweet

BN's are awesome fish

BN's with big B's on their N's are the coolest!

How long is that guy, 6"???

I haven't actually held a ruler up to the tank, but I'd say he's at least 6". Their tails hang out of the slate caves, and they're 5" long.
