it appears my cycling has stalled
for the sense the 11th my reading have been
ammonia-.25
nitrite-1ppm
nitrate 10ppm
is this normal? I've been a freshwater guy for about 4 years just recently went salt. never seen a stall before.

Just be patient and let it run its course. If for some reason it takes longer, which could mean sudden die-off, etc., then all you can do is wait. Though, contrary to what you may think, it is OK to do water changes during the cycle, so you can use them to dilute much of what you are testing. You should also be able to keep more diversity that way, since you'll be preventing some of it from succumbing to the higher ammonia levels.

i've been doig a 25% water change a week, sometimes two if i feel levels are getting too high.

Again, stay the course. It may help, however, to get a second reading on those levels, either via an LFS or a second test kit.
