Want to buy an FX5. I have changed the impeller shaft on my Mag 350 2 times the last time about 4 months or so and tired of doing it. The shaft the time is all worn out and bent.

You have sand in you tank? That is the only thing that could destroy a Magnum 350 impeller magnet. I'll take the Magnum off your hands.
I have sand, 3m quartz and black aggregate but I'm going to use the magnum as a polishing filter on my planted 55.
