Thanks guys. The crickets think that they can hide in the background but it just gives the monitors more incentive to hunt them down. They take no prisoners.

That evil stare at the end of the video you guys are referring to is the way they have to swallow larger food items. Because they have such long necks compared to other lizards, they have to move their head and neck side to side to help push the meal down.

Thanks CC, and yes they are 'cute'. I think it's because they have very expressive, intelligent eyes.
