Looking for help w/one of our weather loaches. Recently, one of the larger loaches has taken to spending most of it's time in our breeder. Comes out long enuf to eat and mingle w/the others, then it's back to the breeder again.

We wondered if perhaps there could be eggs on the way. Anyone w/any knowledge of these guys have any advice?

Thanks :)

I have 2 in a 75 and they never hide. They always are swimming.

But for them to breed, you have to do something with the temperature or something, but mine never are like that. :s

Lots of spaces to hide, yes. 40gal aquarium. temp is usually 76-78 C.

They live w/a pleco and a small group of cories <mixed skunk and panda>

Here's some great info on weather loaches
http://www.loaches.com/species-index/weather-loach-misgurnis-anguillicaudatus
please note that you're on the VERY high end of their temperature range. weather loaches are more of a cold water species than tropical
