68* too cold for dwarf cories?

What temp are they at now, and where? If it's only a matter of a couple of days I would say leave them where they are until the heater comes in.
Never had cories myself but most fish (most creatues for that matter) seem able adapt to a few degrees up or down provided they have enough time to adjust. They do it in the wild after all. If the tank as a whole heats up or cools down over a few days they'll adapt along with it.
If you just took them straight from a tank at, say, 78 and put them into 68 degree water however, this might shock them enough to do harm. Or even kill them...like I said I don't know cories' level of sensitivity and should shut up until an expert on the matter arrives. If one is not indeed writing even as I speak.

If you don't have the cories yet I would hold off untill you get your heater. If you already have them I would not feed untill you get the heater. Also don't open the hood if you can avoid it, you want to try to keep the temp as stable as possible.
I have one tank that I keep at 75 and another that hovers around 69-70. Both have small shoals of Habrosus corys. I cannot see a difference in behavior, feeding or shoaling between the two. Both are equally active and have similar tankmates. I know very little about the species-- just telling you about my observations.
