These are the two survivors of my great cory massacre. the smaller one is vigorous and seems healthy--but its back looks 'bowed' rather than straight. Or am I just imagining things? I don't imagine there is much I can do about it, either way....

The die off was upon arrival. So I think it arrived like this. It was also noticeably smaller than all the others.

I can't tell from the picture. Sometimes little genetic defects happen. If the cories are raised by the bunches, it could have been missed when it was time to cull. He could still live a long happy life. I have an albino aeneus whose snoot wraps around and under. Looks really weird and you'd think she'd have trouble eating. She can't really use her barbels, they are on the bottom of her chin, underneath, not out in front. Not! I've had my albinos for years and she's just as fat as the ones with the normal mouths.
