so i have a 55 gallon. now picture this, left from right i have a fluval 405 point toward the middle front glass going to the right, on the right side glass i have a koralia 600 pointing towards the middle center of the tank, now for the right half of the tank this makes great flow where all the fish hang out, but on the left side there is a dead zone and the fish never go there but when i feed, i was wondering if it would be to much to add a koralia 400 on the left side of the tank to kill the dead zone my stocking is in my sig

No leave the dead zone they will appreciate this area for a holding area.. You will be fine with the flow you have going..

IMHO, I don't think it is necessary to create more water movement than the one you already have in it.

k, and pitt, i wont have any breeding in my tank, im staying away from male female and hybrids

I don't think Pitt is talking about that kind of "holding", Fishfiles1.
