I have a bit of an algae problem in my tank..as stated in another post I recently bought and installed a RO filter that I figured would help combat this problem, along with having other benefits.

Would Nassarius snails be a good addition to help with algae and general clean up? I allready have about 15 or so hermit crabs running around...a mix of scarlet and blue.

Would 50 be to many for a 72g?

Thanks!

nassarius snails dont eat algae actually. They eat left over food and other waste.

Heres a good little list on clean up crews from justphish.com
