Im looking into starting a co2 system on my 55g heavily planted tank.
Im going to buy everything piece by piece.. starting with the co2 tank..
Where can i buy one? and what size should I get for my 55g tank?
Thanks!

aquariumplants.com Get the 10 lb. cylinder. It's not that much more than the 5 lb. cylinder and it only costs a few dollars more to fill when you get it refilled.

Brewerys and welding places have them too.

great idea tanker. many of them also just rent them. have to pay a deposit but you can get it back if you ever return the tank vs swapping out.

I got mine off ebay. I kept an eye on ebay for about a week and picked up a 15 pounder for $40.00. But for a 55 gal i would go with a 10 # cylinder.
