pond plants-do i have to bleach them?

I collected some plants from my pond and planted them in my 2.5 before bleaching the plants. if i use the tank for fish will i need to take everything out of the tank and bleach it or after a month or two (and many water changes) would it be safe to put fish/inverts in?
 
what would you be bleaching for? if it's algae it should go away with proper care and dosing in most cases. if it's critters try potassium permanganate.
 
yeah, i'm worried about parasites, polluntants, and disease from the fish/turtles in the pond.
