Low light? High light? What is it?

Ok I want an answer to this once and for all lol.

I retrofitted my hood with two of these bulbs: http://www.1000bulbs.com/14-Watt-5000-Kelvin-Compact-Fluorescents/43192/

Would my tank be a low light tank? high light? what? (its 25" tall btw)

28w over 44 gallons? Low, low light.

You can't just use the equivalent, 14 watts is 14 watts.

Yeah but 14 watts of CFL isnt the same as 14 watts of LED lets say...

Correct, but in terms of "wpg" it doesn't make much difference (one of the reasons its not a perfect guideline).

Anything under 2 watts per gallon, flourescent bulbs is definitely low light. Especially for a tank as deep as that. You could have 6 of those bulbs and you'd still have low light for a tank of that depth.
