I have a 120g with eheim 2028Pro filter. I am in the process of setting up auto co2 injection system. I have the AB 1000 reactor that I want to setup outside of the aquarium on the 'out' hose of the filter. It seems that eheim hoses are 3/4" or a bit smaller and the reactor barbs are 1/2". What do I do here? Use a reducing barb on each side and piece in 1/2" hose to make the connection?

Any input would be appreciated. Or would you suggest getting additional filter, lets say fluval 304 or eheim 2213 classic and connect the reactor on that and leave the 2028 alone.

Thanks.

I've almost confused myself enough reading this Q that I oughta not give an opinion, naaa, that would be to easy...lol

I'm confused with the "auto" part, but thinking that doesn't really matter... sooo...

I'm thinking, use reducer from the "around 3/4" (because it could be metric?) to the 1/2" to go in the reactor, come off the reactor to the tank with 1/2".

When I said 'auto' I meant pH controller controlled injection - hence auto.
