I'm new to aquatic breeding in general but my snail laid a bunch eggs a couple weeks ago and before I could move all of the clutches, one of them hatched. I now have another tank that I will be using for the babies but I was wondering if there was a good way to move all the babies from my main tank to the new one.

Put a fresh green veggie in the bottom of the tank. Shortly there after a bunch of babies will be on it eating. Take the veggie and gently remove the babies into the new tank. Do not pull them off, slide them off. Repeat until most to all of the babies are moved. I usually poke the veggie with a stainless steel fork, tie fishing line to the fork and leave the fishing line end out over the edge of the tank. That way the veggie stays down and I have a way to slowly lift the fork and veggie out without having to be up to my armpits in the tank.
