I bought two albino cories last night, in addition to the one Julli I have in there now. I have a 15g tank with the three cories and three Raspboras. My albino's are goin nuts. Its like they can't stop moving. For almost 24 hours now they have been moving up and down the glass, while my Julli cory just sits there. Are they freaking out because of something I did, or are they just naturally spastic!? Water tests are on the way.
They can be a bit on the crazy side. My albino is by far the craziest. They often go for a gulp of air at the surface as well.

Mine are like that also. I got 4 about a yr ago and lost two. The remaining two are healthy, although they are small.
The albino's have poor (if any) vision, and are not so good at scavenging for food. Make sure that you drop sinking food tablets in 4x a week or they may starve. I think that the 2 that died burned up more calories than they took in since they never stop moving.
It is funny that you say they are not good at finding food. My albino actually has no eyes at all, he came that way. And he is always the first to hit that pellet of food.

i have 3 cories (just like the albino but a dif. coloration) and they always find every bit of food on the bottom
or maybe thats just cause its red and green on black gravel?

My theory is that my albino corys ( I think abino variety of peppered
<= not these guys)
burn up more calories than the other corys since they spend so much time being hyper and flittering about the tank. They burn more energy than other corys and therefore need a ready supply of food.
