Welcome to the February 2010 Photo Of The Month competition.


Voting is now open to everybody, one vote only per person.


There will be a limited 14 days voting period, followed by the selection of a winner with the highest number of votes from AquariaCentral.com . If in the instance of more than one winner is selected (same number of votes), a secondary 7 days voting would be held to determine the winner.


The winner of the previous months POTM contest will not be eligible to enter another Photo of the Month Contest for the next three months, and win the prize for 12 months, to ensure fairness and opportunity for other participants to win.

Pic 13 for me...I think its a stunning shot with them all looking looking up to the log, like its some heathen god !!

There are many excellent photos in this months entry! However, I really like the composition of #17 and am surprised that there have not been more votes for it!

13 is the best overall composition, and 2 is the most intimate and well executed.

All are very cool, but I went with 18. The colors are just so vibrant.

There are many excellent photos in this months entry! However, I really like the composition of #17 and am surprised that there have not been more votes for it!

there havnt been a lot of votes for it because 15 is just that much better, I mean the reflection is more in focus in that one than some of the other pictures!

I disagree that 15 is just "that much better" than 17. 17 has several different textures that add interest to the picture, from the rounded rocks to the swept lines of the wood. 15 is a fantastic photo for sure, but I find 17 to be more interesting to my eye. I also think 13 is interesting, but I think the blurriness really takes away from it.

i was TORN between 13 and 19! went with 13 eventually, had a sort of mystical quality to it.
