These guys need an appropriate fancy goldfish home. I saved them from being flushed by someone on craigslist but am not set up to appropriately keep goldies. There is one calico ryukin (about the size of a ping pong ball) and one black moor (smaller than the ryukin).

If you're interested, please respond with your fishkeeping experience, tank you'll keep them in (size, how long it's been set up), and tankmates in the tank. I want these guys to get a good permanent home and I'm not in a rush to place them. Hopefully there are some fancy goldie lovers around San Antonio! Free to a good home.

No one in southern Texas likes fancy goldfish? You can't beat the price.

Bump for you. I wish I could take them, but I'm in PA. Who would flush such beautiful fish? Good save, Lab Rat!

Lab_Rat, you may have a better chance advertising this in specific goldfish sites.

I commend you for saving the goldies. I do hope they go to good homes.

Have you thought about taking them to the LFS?

Any recommendations on goldfish sites? I'll do my best to make sure they get appropriate homes.

I can do that as a last resort, right now they're not a problem to take care of and are still small enough that the 10g they're in isn't cramped. I'd hate to take them to the LFS only for them to go back to the same situation of living in a 2.5g, etc.

Found a good home for them (if the person shows up tomorrow), thread can be closed. Thanks!
