A friend of mine sent me this.......This is a new record Northern Pike in Canada, he caught it on
Turtle Lake Saskatchewan. The man was fishing
and caught a 36" Pike. As he was reeling it in, a 56"LONG AND 55 lb Pike tried to eat it. He landed them both in the same net.

Yeah, I don't think so. This picture has been around for a while. Just google "Big pike" and you will see many other pictures of large pike in the 55 pound range and they all come from Holland and germany. Good try though. I can personally find posts from the year 2000 that show this same picture.

Yeah, I remember those pics from quite some time ago. Still, that's an impressive pike.

That pike in the water looks really scary.
