Ever since I was a little kid I wanted someday to have a big, beautiful reef aquarium. My dad had a 70 gal reef and I would sit and watch the fish and corals for hours and hours. Right now, though, I'm just a broke college kid who moves from apartment to apartment every year and am in no position for a big aquarium. But I want to start researching so I know what I want to do when the day finally comes...

I already have The New Marine Aquarium but I'm hoping to get a variety of different resources. What are your favorite books or websites for any information on saltwater tanks? I'm looking for technical information, maintenance information, and fish, coral, and anemone profiles. I pretty much want to learn about anything you guys think is worth knowing. Thanks everyone!

Just a few of the books I would suggest are
Natural Reef Aquariums by Tullock
The Complete book of Marine Aquarium by Vincent Hargreaves
Aquarium Corals by Eric Borneman
Invertebrates by Julian Sprung
Coral Reef fishes by Peter Sales

They will get you started

Those look like great recommendations! (Thank you amazon.com "look inside" feature.) I especially can't wait to check out Coral Reef Fishes; it makes so much sense to learn more about the reef before you attempt to replicate it :) Thanks again.
