Hey, hi to everyone on Aquaria Central!

Does anyone have any care advice on Clown Plecs, i bought two yesterday and one of them i havent seen since, he's hiding somewhere.
I just wondered if this is normal beheivour.

welcome to AC! I would recommend making a post in the bottom dwellers pleco section with more information on your setup! Good luck and enjoy the community!

Typical for clown pleco's, they normally stay out of sight about 95% of the time. They do need driftwood in the tank; it's a necessary part of their diet, and while they will eat other foods they will die w/out driftwood.

They are nocturnal. They mostly hide until after dark. If you plan to feed them (which you should), do so after the room and tank lights are all out. Then feed with sinking pellets/wafers. They are omnivores, so prefer a mix of meats in their food as well as algae. And wood in the tank is a must.
