I thought this movie was very entertaining. The CG was awesome and at times I completely forgot about it. I felt like I was in a Roger Dean painting.

First movie ive ever seen that deserves a sequel. It was the best movie ive ever seen. It had sad parts happy parts awesome parts even cruel parts. It was like what we are doing to earth. The death of the great tree was like a perfect reflection of what we have done to earth and how the natives still won is whats gonna happen to humans on earth. We gonna get our asses kicked lol. In summary it was the best movie ive ever seen.

I didn't watch the 3D version because all my friends and family said the 3D made them nauseous. :) I really enjoyed Avatar -- the message within the movie was good and the animation was out of this world; I can only imagine how incredible the 3D version must've been. I was happy with the way the movie ended and walked away from the theater awakened with the reality of mankind's actions. I was overall very enlightened. Avatar was an A++ movie to me. :)

Shoulda called reinforcements and totally bring heavy artillery and took over the planet, got the rich minerals and moved on.

The 3D wasn't that great, it only made things have a body (such as the plant scenes or the sacred place) very LIMITED special effects actually flew at the audience.

I saw it last weekend at an IMAX theater, in 3D. Ive never viewed a movie in 3D before, and I didnt get nauseous or dizzy or anything....think that some people are just wimps!! :raspberry:

Didnt think I would like it at all... but I LOVED it and CANNOT wait to see it a.) again, or b.) a sequel. Im not big into sci-fi (comedy man myself here), but it blew away my expectations and kept my attention the whole time.

Absolutely amazing effects - the best Ive ever seen in my 29 year life. Just a great movie. Plus, the popcorn was delicious (and had free refills!) at the theater, which added to my satisfaction....lol :grinyes:

ah, "Alien" definitely deserved a sequel just not the sequel we got.

i didnt see it in 3D, i cant focus on the movie when my eyes are bleeding...

i thought it was a great movie, cant wait for the sequels.

Thats the effect that James Cameron actually wanted...He did not want a movie that was constantly jumping out at you as that causes distraction and you miss the movie itself...

The 3D was balanced very well in my opinion...there was enough 3D to make a dramatic impact and to give depth, yet still provide a movie with a great story and good actors / acting..

I really enjoyed the movie at the cinema, and i would say it will prob be the movie of the year for me.
