i found this on ebay, 12 bucks a peice, would two of these do good on a twenty gallon low light tank? i dont know anything about the brand and wether or not they are crap

It looks like they charge 59 bucks shipping for the two items. Finding replacement bulbs could be a challenge.

It takes a 220 outlet not a regular 110 keep that in mind.

x2. Unless your outlet is 220 this wont work so you'll want to check yours

yea i did notice the 220 thing afterwards, any opinions on a cheap (not crap) light for a twenty gallon?

depends on what you are trying to acheive. you can DIY a good, efficient, and cheap lighting hood for just a few bucks

seems like it would be decent, spectrum and algae growth and such would be the variable to look out for, id start using it on a weekend when i was home to make sure it didnt catch on fire or something, definateley use it on a gfci
