Memphis area

I am looking at a possible move to the memphis area. I am used to having a 3 minute drive to a lake with pike, bluegill, bass, cats, and suckers.

How is the fishing down there? Are there good lakes? Good rivers? From what I have found online i'm mostly looking at bass down there.

I must say though, if I do move, it will be nice to get out of the frozen wasteland.

You've got the Mighty Miss. river right there. Yes plenty of fishing, go to Branson, Misourri. When you get there just ask the locals, but don't let 'em talk you into going grabbing, unless you like getting bite by giant catfish, and all the other criters of the Missippi river. Good Luck
