Hey guys i just started up my 55 gallon aquarium after a disaster hit it over the winter break. Its your standard 55 gallon tank with several decorations and many live plants. Pictures are soon to come. I am just looking for some feedback as to what your thoughts are.

So far i have:
2 Angelfish
2 Iridescent sharks
2 Yoyo loaches
4 Cory Cats
1 Pleco
4 Black Neon Tetras
4 White skirt tetras
4 Perstella tetras
4 Bleeding Heart Tetras
4 Diamond Tetras
4 Fantail Sepre Tetras
4 Red and Blue Columbian Tetras

Any comments or feedback are greatly appriciated thanks, henry

Welcome to AC!! What kind of Corys do you have?

Welcome to AC!

Just a few things I see. The ID shark will out grow that tank. Also, I'd pick two of those 3 species of tetras and increase the school instead of having six. It looks much better. Also, I'd increase the school of your Corydoras.

If you take out the ID Shark, you'll have much more room. I'd get about 12-15for two species of tetras, and 8 Corydoras or so.

as far as the corys go i have 2 peppered corys and 2 of something else there spotted with a black band over their eyes. The sharks i do know will out grow the tank in time but as soon as i get out of college im upgrading to a much larger tank. I like the idea of making the schooling sizes bigger but the problem is deciding which to keep and which to ditch i love all my fish and the variety helps out a lot. From what i have been able to notice the tetras all school together with no visible problem with it. i do how ever want to consider more angels

Welcome to AC!

also has anyone have any suggestion about rams? its a debated topic as to weather or not they would eat the tetras or leave them alone
