Does anyone know the name of the glue that fills leaks in fish tanks. I knew it but it must have slipped my mind. Thanks.

For the inside, I am sure there is a aquarium safe sealant that does not release anything into the tank ...not sure what it is called though. I would make sure before you buy it though.

There is am aquarium safe sealant I found at Home Depot. says on the package its for aquariums. I wanted to use it on my boat so I would not hurt the water environments I was in if that part of the boat happened to touch the water or somehow the product leach into the water.....

It is in the paint section of the store.

Clear silicaone adhesive is what you want, make sure it is 100% silicone, no anti mildew additives etc. if you just want a small tube for fix it work, Auto parts stores are a good source, for larger quantities go to the hardware store. I have re-sealed a couple of tank completely and had no trouble.

It's made by Dow and says 100% Silicone, Aquarium Safe. I use it in my tanks with no problems
