frozen food goes bad?

I have Formula One frozen fish food from Ocean Nutrition.

I've had it in the freezer for 6-8 months. I've fed it off and on. But it's a huge block and I only have tiny fish.

How long is it good for? Does it go bad in the freezer? Does it loose its nutrition like flakes?

It will get frost burn, just like other frozen items. I take out about 2 weeks worth and put in a tupperware in the freezer. The rest I vaccum pack and freeze.

While there isn't much of a problem with it going bad, the ice crystals can be deadly. I lost most of a tank after dumbly dumping the little bits of food that were at the bottom of the container into a tank. I'm not sure what exactly happened, as the fish that died were all ones that dove in and ate immediately as it hit the water.
