he hid in the jungle vals yesterday, he is venturing out a little this morning but not straying to far from the vals. I did see him eat last night. Do I just have a shy betta. tank mates are full grown neons.

He probably just has to get used to his surroundings. Give him some time, and I bet he will come out more!
