I'm planning on getting out of the hobby. I don't know if it will be forever, but for right now, I'm just too busy and I don't have the proper time to devote to it. So I'm going to be selling off all my stuff. Fish, tanks, stands and a bunch of accessories. But I need help from you guys on what you think it would all be worth and what I should sell it for. I've already gotten rid of 2 of my tanks, but here's what's left that I need to sell...
75 Gallon
Brand new, bought last month. Been filled with water once but never actually used. Comes with brand new Stingray stand (black), glass lids, and 48" single light strip still in box.
46 Gallon (bowfront)
Used for 1 year. Still in great condition. Very few (none that I can actually see) scratches. Comes with glass lid (clean but has some water deposit stains that can probably be removed with some elbow grease and a little work), and black Stingray stand.
20 Gallon high
1 year old. Good condition. Comes with lid & light.
10 Gallon
6 months old. Good condition. Comes with lid & light.
5 Gallon
3 months old. Good condition. Just the tank. No lid, no light.
4 AC 70's
2 of them are brand new, never used with fish, but ran on an empty (new) tank for 1 day. The other 2 are about 6 months old, but still work great. I also have extra AC 70 parts and some random new and used media that the buyer can have if they choose.
3 Penguin Bio-Wheel 100's
All of them about a year old. All still work great and still quiet.
1 Penguin Bio-Wheel 350
About a year old. Works, but can get noisy at times. A new impeller will probably solve the problem.
I have some new driftwood thats never been used. Bought last month. Medium-large. 5 pieces.
Also, another 4 pieces of driftwood that have been in my tanks for about a year.. 3 of them are small, 1 is medium size.
4 large glass-type rocks. (called magic stone at Big Al`s)
3 slate pleco caves made by a local aquarist. Used for about 8 months. Black marble with removable lid.
5 other pleco caves, terracotta colour. 3 D-shape and 2 rectangle shape. These 5 have never been used.
I also have a whole bag of fake plants.
1 Rena Cal 300 watt heater (adjustable temp)
1 Rena Cal 100 watt heater (adjustable temp)
1 Rena Cal 50 watt heater (adjustable temp)
1 Tetra heater (not sure if its 50 or 100 watt). Pre-set temp at 78 F.
2 week old Aqueon 50 foot water changer. Only been used twice. Comes with tap connectors.
1 whisper 100 air pump. Brand new in box, never used.
1 whisper 10-30 air pump. Used for about 6 months.
1 and a half 45 lb bags of new playsand. I unopened bag and 1 half bag.
Also have a 30 gallon rubbermaid container and a few buckets that can go as well.
Any other accessories, like nets, syphon and anything else that I can find laying around, will be thrown in as extra.
As for the fish, this is what I have left..
7- goldfish. (1 comet, 3 Shubs, 1 crown pearlscale, 2 ryunkins)
2- adult bristlenose plecos. Male and female. Proven breeding pair.
9- 7 week old plecos (bristlenose)
10- 2 week old plecos (bristlenose)
15+ guppies (both male and female, young and old). Could be more or less, havnt counted in awhile.
So what do you guys think a fair price would be to ask for all this? I would like to sell it all together if possible. The fish are free to whoever buys everything. However, if they don't want them, I will find a suitable home for them all.
