I just bought a used one (e-bay) and it arrived with a piece broken off. I can't find any replacement parts on the net, so I'm hoping someone may have one on hand. The filter is useless w/out it, and I don't think glue is likely to hold, particularly w/out leaking.

i bought a tomrapids canister off of ebay and the plastic canister part was broke, i might be able to sell the motor head cheap in a week or two if you want it.

I have a used one if anyone wants to buy it. the whole filter I only used it about 4 weeks, just doesnt do enough' for me ...

*( I heard' you can mod' these to flow better , is this true anyone ? Thanxs )

Unscrew the intake hose nut and remove the red flow indicator. Then push the shaft back-and-forth to break it out, and you can cut out the remaining small pieces of plastic to open it up wider. Do the same thing with the clear plastic piece; needlenose pliers will break out the crosspiece that holds the shaft. Then you can use the red flow indicator weight for a fishing sinker...
